Psalms 79
1O 1 Thy holy temple have they defiled; 1 They have laid Jerusalem in heaps. 1
2The 1 The flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth. 1
3Their 1 And there was none to bury them. 1
4We are 1 A scoffing and derision to them that are round about us. 1
5How 1 Shall thy jealousy burn like fire? 1
6Pour 1 And upon the kingdoms that call not upon thy name. 1
7For 1 And laid waste his habitation. 1
8Remember 1 Let thy tender mercies speedily meet us; 1 For we are brought very low. 1
9Help 1 And deliver us, and forgive our sins, for thy name’s sake. 1
10Wherefore 1 Let the avenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed 1 Be known among the nations in our sight. 1
11Let 1 According to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to death; 1
12And 1 Their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord. 1
13So 1 Will give thee thanks forever: 1 We will show forth thy praise to all generations.
