Psalms 40
I waited patiently for 1 And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 1
He 1 And he set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 1
And 1 Many shall see it, and fear, 1 And shall trust in Jehovah. 1
Blessed is 1 And respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. 1
Many 1 And thy thoughts which are to us-ward: 1 They cannot be set in order unto thee; 1 If I would declare and speak of them, 1 They are more than can be numbered. 1
Sacrifice 1 Mine ears hast thou opened: 1 Burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. 1
Then 1 In the roll of the book it is written of me: 1
I 1 Yea, thy law is within my heart. 1
I 1 Lo, I will not refrain my lips, 1 O Jehovah, thou knowest. 1
I 1 I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation; 1 I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great assembly. 1
Withhold not 1 Let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. 1
For 1 Mine iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up; 1 They are more than the hairs of my head; 1 And my heart hath failed me. 1
Be 1 Make haste to help me, O Jehovah. 1
Let them 1 That seek after my soul to destroy it: 1 Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor 1 That delight in my hurt. 1
Let 1 That say unto me, Aha, aha. 1
Let all 1 Let such as love thy salvation say continually, 1 Jehovah be magnified. 1
But 1 Yet the Lord thinketh upon me: 1 Thou art my help and my deliverer; 1 Make no tarrying, O my God.
