Psalms 49

Hear this 1 Give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world, 1

Both 1 Rich and poor together. 1

My 1 And the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding. 1

I 1 I will open my dark saying upon the harp. 1

Wherefore should I fear in 1 When iniquity at my heels compasseth me about? 1

They 1 And boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; 1

None of them can by 1 Nor give to God a ransom for him 1

( For 1 And it faileth forever), 1

That 1 That he should not see corruption. 1

For 1 The fool and the brutish alike perish, 1 And leave their wealth to others. 1

Their 1 And their dwelling places to all generations; 1 They call their lands after their own names. 1

But 1 He is like the beasts that perish. 1

This 1 Yet after them men approve their sayings. Selah 1

They 1 Death shall be their shepherd: 1 And the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; 1 And their beauty shall be for Sheol to consume, 1 That there be no habitation for it. 1

But God will 1 For he will receive me. Selah 1

Be 1 When the glory of his house is increased: 1

For 1 His glory shall not descend after him. 1

Though 1 ( And men praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself), 1

He 1 They shall never see the light. 1

Man 1 Is like the beasts that perish.
