Psalms 18

I 1

Jehovah 1 My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; 1 My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. 1

I 1 So shall I be saved from mine enemies. 1

The 1 And the floods of ungodliness made me afraid. 1

The 1 The snares of death came upon me. 1

In 1 And cried unto my God: 1 He heard my voice out of his temple, 1 And my cry before him came into his ears. 1

Then 1 The foundations also of the mountains quaked 1 And were shaken, because he was wroth. 1

There 1 And fire out of his mouth devoured: 1 Coals were kindled by it. 1

He 1 And thick darkness was under his feet. 1

And 1 Yea, he soared upon the wings of the wind. 1

He 1 Darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies. 1

At 1 Hailstones and coals of fire. 1

Jehovah 1 And the Most High uttered his voice, 1 Hailstones and coals of fire. 1

And 1 Yea, lightnings manifold, and discomfited them. 1

Then 1 And the foundations of the world were laid bare, 1 At thy rebuke, O Jehovah, 1 At the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. 1

He 1 He drew me out of many waters. 1

He 1 And from them that hated me; for they were too mighty for me. 1

They 1 But Jehovah was my stay. 1

He 1 He delivered me, because he delighted in me. 1

Jehovah 1 According to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. 1

For 1 And have not wickedly departed from my God. 1

For 1 And I put not away his statutes from me. 1

I 1 And I kept myself from mine iniquity. 1

Therefore 1 According to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight. 1

With 1 With the perfect man thou wilt show thyself perfect; 1

With 1 And with the perverse thou wilt show thyself froward. 1

For 1 But the haughty eyes thou wilt bring down. 1

For 1 Jehovah my God will lighten my darkness. 1

For 1 And by my God do I leap over a wall. 1

As 1 The word of Jehovah is tried; 1 He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in him. 1

For 1 And who is a rock, besides our God, 1

The 1 And maketh my way perfect? 1

He 1 And setteth me upon my high places. 1

He 1 So that mine arms do bend a bow of brass. 1

Thou 1 And thy right hand hath holden me up, 1 And thy gentleness hath made me great. 1

Thou 1 And my feet have not slipped. 1

I 1 Neither will I turn again till they are consumed. 1

I 1 They shall fall under my feet. 1

For 1 Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. 1

Thou hast also made mine 1 That I might cut off them that hate me. 1

They 1 Even unto Jehovah, but he answered them not. 1

Then 1 I did cast them out as the mire of the streets. 1

Thou 1 Thou hast made me the head of the nations: 1 A people whom I have not known shall serve me. 1

As 1 The foreigners shall submit themselves unto me. 1

The 1 And shall come trembling out of their close places. 1

Jehovah 1 And exalted be the God of my salvation, 1

Even 1 And subdueth peoples under me. 1

He 1 Yea, thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me; 1 Thou deliverest me from the violent man. 1

Therefore I 1 And will sing praises unto thy name. 1

Great deliverance giveth he 1 And showeth lovingkindness to his anointed, 1 To David and to his seed, forevermore.
