Psalms 9
1I will give thanks unto 1 I will show forth all thy marvelous works. 1
2I 1 I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High. 1
3When mine enemies turn back, 1 They stumble and perish at thy presence. 1
4For 1 Thou sittest in the throne judging righteously. 1
5Thou 1 Thou hast blotted out their name forever and ever. 1
6The 1 And the cities which thou hast overthrown, 1 The very remembrance of them is perished. 1
7But 1 He hath prepared his throne for judgment; 1
8And 1 He will minister judgment to the peoples in uprightness. 1
9Jehovah 1 A high tower in times of trouble; 1
10And 1 For thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. 1
11Sing praises 1 Declare among the people his doings. 1
12For 1 He forgetteth not the cry of the poor. 1
13Have 1 Behold my affliction which I suffer of them that hate me, 1 Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death; 1
14That 1 In the gates of the daughter of Zion 1 I will rejoice in thy salvation. 1
15The 1 In the net which they hid is their own foot taken. 1
16Jehovah 1 The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah 1
17The 1 Even all the nations that forget God. 1
18For 1 Nor the expectation of the poor perish forever. 1
19Arise, O 1 Let the nations be judged in thy sight. 1
20Put 1 Let the nations know themselves to be but men. Selah
