Proverbs 1
The 1
To 1 To discern the words of understanding; 1
To 1 In righteousness and justice and equity; 1
To 1 To the young man knowledge and discretion: 1
That 1 And that the man of understanding may attain unto sound counsels: 1
To 1 The words of the wise, and their dark sayings. 1
The 1 But the foolish despise wisdom and instruction. 1
My 1 And forsake not the law of thy mother: 1
For 1 And chains about thy neck. 1
My son 1 Consent thou not. 1
If they 1 Let us lay wait for blood; 1 Let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause; 1
Let 1 And whole, as those that go down into the pit; 1
We 1 We shall fill our houses with spoil; 1
Thou 1 We will all have one purse: 1
My 1 Refrain thy foot from their path: 1
For 1 And they make haste to shed blood. 1
For 1 In the sight of any bird: 1
And 1 They lurk privily for their own lives. 1
So 1 It taketh away the life of the owners thereof. 1
Wisdom 1 She uttereth her voice in the broad places; 1
She 1 At the entrance of the gates, 1 In the city, she uttereth her words: 1
How 1 And scoffers delight them in scoffing, 1 And fools hate knowledge? 1
Turn 1 Behold, I will pour out my spirit upon you; 1 I will make known my words unto you. 1
Because 1 I have stretched out my hand, and no man hath regarded; 1
But 1 And would none of my reproof: 1
I 1 I will mock when your fear cometh; 1
When 1 And your calamity cometh on as a whirlwind; 1 When distress and anguish come upon you. 1
Then 1 They will seek me diligently, but they shall not find me: 1
For 1 And did not choose the fear of Jehovah, 1
They 1 They despised all my reproof. 1
Therefore 1 And be filled with their own devices. 1
For 1 And the careless ease of fools shall destroy them. 1
But 1 And shall be quiet without fear of evil.
