Proverbs 31
1The 1
2What 1 And what, O son of my vows? 1
3Give 1 Nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings. 1
4It 1 Nor for princes to say, Where is strong drink? 1
5Lest 1 And pervert the justice due to any that is afflicted. 1
6Give 1 And wine unto the bitter in soul: 1
7Let 1 And remember his misery no more. 1
8Open 1 In the cause of all such as are left desolate. 1
9Open 1 And minister justice to the poor and needy. 1
10A 1 For her price is far above rubies. 1
11The 1 And he shall have no lack of gain. 1
12She 1 All the days of her life. 1
13She 1 And worketh willingly with her hands. 1
14She is 1 She bringeth her bread from afar. 1
15She 1 And giveth food to her household, 1 And their task to her maidens. 1
16She 1 With the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. 1
17She girdeth 1 And maketh strong her arms. 1
18She 1 Her lamp goeth not out by night. 1
19She 1 And her hands hold the spindle. 1
20She 1 Yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. 1
21She 1 For all her household are clothed with scarlet. 1
22She maketh 1 Her clothing is fine linen and purple. 1
23Her 1 When he sitteth among the elders of the land. 1
24She maketh 1 And delivereth girdles unto the merchant. 1
25Strength 1 And she laugheth at the time to come. 1
26She 1 And the law of kindness is on her tongue. 1
27She 1 And eateth not the bread of idleness. 1
28Her 1 Her husband also, and he praiseth her, saying: 1
29Many 1 But thou excellest them all. 1
30Grace 1 But a woman that feareth Jehovah, she shall be praised. 1
31Give 1 And let her works praise her in the gates.
