Proverbs 14

1Every wise 1 But the foolish plucketh it down with her own hands. 1

2He 1 But he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him. 1

3In 1 But the lips of the wise shall preserve them. 1

4Where no oxen 1 But much increase is by the strength of the ox. 1

5A 1 But a false witness uttereth lies. 1

6A 1 But knowledge is easy unto him that hath understanding. 1

7Go 1 And thou shalt not perceive in him the lips of knowledge. 1

8The 1 But the folly of fools is deceit. 1

9A 1 But among the upright there is good will. 1

10The 1 And a stranger doth not intermeddle with its joy. 1

11The 1 But the tent of the upright shall flourish. 1

12There 1 But the end thereof are the ways of death. 1

13Even 1 And the end of mirth is heaviness. 1

14The 1 And a good man shall be satisfied from himself. 1

15The 1 But the prudent man looketh well to his going. 1

16A 1 But the fool beareth himself insolently, and is confident. 1

17He 1 And a man of wicked devices is hated. 1

18The 1 But the prudent are crowned with knowledge. 1

19The 1 And the wicked, at the gates of the righteous. 1

20The 1 But the rich hath many friends. 1

21He 1 But he that hath pity on the poor, happy is he. 1

22Do 1 But mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good. 1

23In 1 But the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. 1

24The crown 1 But the folly of fools is only folly. 1

25A 1 But he that uttereth lies causeth deceit. 1

26In 1 And his children shall have a place of refuge. 1

27The 1 That one may depart from the snares of death. 1

28In 1 But in the want of people is the destruction of the prince. 1

29He 1 But he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly. 1

30A 1 But envy is the rottenness of the bones. 1

31He 1 But he that hath mercy on the needy honoreth him. 1

32The 1 But the righteous hath a refuge in his death. 1

33Wisdom 1 But that which is in the inward part of fools is made known. 1

34Righteousness 1 But sin is a reproach to any people. 1

35The 1 But his wrath will be against him that causeth shame.
