Proverbs 22
1A 1 And loving favor rather than silver and gold. 1
2The 1 Jehovah is the maker of them all. 1
3A 1 But the simple pass on, and suffer for it. 1
4The 1 Is riches, and honor, and life. 1
5Thorns 1 He that keepeth his soul shall be far from them. 1
6Train 1 And even when he is old he will not depart from it. 1
7The 1 And the borrower is servant to the lender. 1
8He that 1 And the rod of his wrath shall fail. 1
9He 1 For he giveth of his bread to the poor. 1
10Cast out 1 Yea, strife and ignominy will cease. 1
11He 1 For the grace of his lips the king will be his friend. 1
12The 1 But he overthroweth the words of the treacherous man. 1
13The 1 I shall be slain in the streets. 1
14The 1 He that is abhorred of Jehovah shall fall therein. 1
15Foolishness is 1 But the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. 1
16He 1 And he that giveth to the rich, shall come only to want. 1
17Incline 1 And apply thy heart unto my knowledge. 1
18For 1 If they be established together upon thy lips. 1
19That 1 I have made them known to thee this day, even to thee. 1
20Have 1 Of counsels and knowledge, 1
21To 1 That thou mayest carry back words of truth to them that send thee? 1
22Rob 1 Neither oppress the afflicted in the gate: 1
23For 1 And despoil of life those that despoil them. 1
24Make 1 And with a wrathful man thou shalt not go: 1
25Lest 1 And get a snare to thy soul. 1
26Be 1 Or of them that are sureties for debts. 1
27If thou 1 Why should he take away thy bed from under thee? 1
28Remove 1 Which thy fathers have set. 1
29Seest 1 He shall not stand before mean men.
