Proverbs 29

1He that being often reproved 1 Shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. 1

2When 1 But when a wicked man beareth rule, the people sigh. 1

3Whoso loveth wisdom 1 But he that keepeth company with harlots wasteth his substance. 1

4The 1 But he that exacteth gifts overthroweth it. 1

5A 1 Spreadeth a net for his steps. 1

6In 1 But the righteous doth sing and rejoice. 1

7The 1 The wicked hath not understanding to know it. 1

8Scoffers set 1 But wise men turn away wrath. 1

9If a 1 Whether he be angry or laugh, there will be no rest. 1

10The 1 And as for the upright, they seek his life. 1

11A 1 But a wise man keepeth it back and stilleth it. 1

12If a 1 All his servants are wicked. 1

13The 1 Jehovah lighteneth the eyes of them both. 1

14The 1 His throne shall be established forever. 1

15The 1 But a child left to himself causeth shame to his mother. 1

16When 1 But the righteous shall look upon their fall. 1

17Correct 1 Yea, he will give delight unto thy soul. 1

18Where there is 1 But he that keepeth the law, happy is he. 1

19A 1 For though he understand, he will not give heed. 1

20Seest 1 There is more hope of a fool than of him. 1

21He that 1 Shall have him become a son at the last. 1

22An 1 And a wrathful man aboundeth in transgression. 1

23A 1 But he that is of a lowly spirit shall obtain honor. 1

24Whoso is 1 He heareth the adjuration and uttereth nothing. 1

25The 1 But whoso putteth his trust in Jehovah shall be safe. 1

26Many 1 But a man’s judgment cometh from Jehovah. 1

27An unjust 1 And he that is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.
