Proverbs 28
1The 1 But the righteous are bold as a lion. 1
2For 1 But by men of understanding and knowledge the state thereof shall be prolonged. 1
3A 1 Is like a sweeping rain which leaveth no food. 1
4They 1 But such as keep the law contend with them. 1
5Evil 1 But they that seek Jehovah understand all things. 1
6Better 1 Than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich. 1
7Whoso keepeth 1 But he that is a companion of gluttons shameth his father. 1
8He 1 Gathereth it for him that hath pity on the poor. 1
9He 1 Even his prayer is an abomination. 1
10Whoso causeth the 1 He shall fall himself into his own pit; 1 But the perfect shall inherit good. 1
11The 1 But the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out. 1
12When 1 But when the wicked rise, men hide themselves. 1
13He 1 But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall obtain mercy. 1
14Happy is 1 But he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief. 1
15As a 1 So is a wicked ruler over a poor people. 1
16The 1 But he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days. 1
17A 1 Shall flee unto the pit; let no man stay him. 1
18Whoso walketh 1 But he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once. 1
19He that 1 But he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough. 1
20A 1 But he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be unpunished. 1
21To 1 Neither that a man should transgress for a piece of bread. 1
22He 1 And knoweth not that want shall come upon him. 1
23He that 1 Than he that flattereth with the tongue. 1
24Whoso robbeth 1 The same is the companion of a destroyer. 1
25He 1 But he that putteth his trust in Jehovah shall be made fat. 1
26He 1 But whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. 1
27He 1 But he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse. 1
28When 1 But when they perish, the righteous increase.
