Proverbs 18

1He 1 And rageth against all sound wisdom. 1

2A 1 But only that his heart may reveal itself. 1

3When 1 And with ignominy cometh reproach. 1

4The 1 The wellspring of wisdom is as a flowing brook. 1

5To 1 Nor to turn aside the righteous in judgment. 1

6A 1 And his mouth calleth for stripes. 1

7A 1 And his lips are the snare of his soul. 1

8The 1 And they go down into the innermost parts. 1

9He 1 Is brother to him that is a destroyer. 1

10The 1 The righteous runneth into it, and is safe. 1

11The 1 And as a high wall in his own imagination. 1

12Before 1 And before honor goeth humility. 1

13He 1 It is folly and shame unto him. 1

14The 1 But a broken spirit who can bear? 1

15The 1 And the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge. 1

16A 1 And bringeth him before great men. 1

17He that 1 But his neighbor cometh and searcheth him out. 1

18The 1 And parteth between the mighty. 1

19A 1 And such contentions are like the bars of a castle. 1

20A 1 With the increase of his lips shall he be satisfied. 1

21Death 1 And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. 1

22Whoso findeth 1 And obtaineth favor of Jehovah. 1

23The 1 But the rich answereth roughly. 1

24He 1 But there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
