Proverbs 27

1Boast 1 For thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. 1

2Let 1 A stranger, and not thine own lips. 1

3A 1 But a fool’s vexation is heavier than they both. 1

4Wrath 1 But who is able to stand before jealousy? 1

5Better 1 Than love that is hidden. 1

6Faithful are the 1 But the kisses of an enemy are profuse. 1

7The 1 But to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet. 1

8As 1 So is a man that wandereth from his place. 1

9Oil 1 So doth the sweetness of a man’s friend that cometh of hearty counsel. 1

10Thine 1 And go not to thy brother’s house in the day of thy calamity: 1 Better is a neighbor that is near than a brother far off. 1

11My 1 That I may answer him that reproacheth me. 1

12A 1 But the simple pass on, and suffer for it. 1

13Take 1 And hold him in pledge that is surety for a foreign woman. 1

14He 1 It shall be counted a curse to him. 1

15A 1 And a contentious woman are alike: 1

16He 1 And his right hand encountereth oil. 1

17Iron 1 So a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. 1

18Whoso keepeth 1 And he that regardeth his master shall be honored. 1

19As 1 So the heart of man to man. 1

20Sheol 1 And the eyes of man are never satisfied. 1

21The 1 And a man is tried by his praise. 1

22Though thou shouldest bray 1 Yet will not his foolishness depart from him. 1

23Be 1 And look well to thy herds: 1

24For 1 And doth the crown endure unto all generations? 1

25The 1 And the herbs of the mountains are gathered in. 1

26The 1 And the goats are the price of the field; 1

27And 1 And maintenance for thy maidens.
