Job 11
1Then answered Tzophar the Na'amati, and said, 1
2Should not the multitude of devarim be answered? 1 And should an ish full of talk yitzdak (be justified)? 1
3Should thy vain talk silence men, 1 so that thou mockest, v'ein machlim (without anyone putting thee to shame)? 1
4For thou hast said, My lekach (doctrine, teaching, belief) is pure, 1 and I am clean in Thine eyes. 1
5But oh that Eloah would speak, 1 and open His lips against thee, 1
6And that He would show thee the secrets of chochmah, 1 that tushiyyah (true wisdom) has two sides! 1 Have da'as therefore that Eloah forgetteth 1 much of thy avon. 1
7Canst thou search out the cheker Eloah (depths of G-d)? 1 Canst thou probe to the tachlis Shaddai (the end, completeness of Almighty)? 1
8It is like the heights of Shomayim; what canst thou do? 1 Deeper than Sheol; of what canst thou have da'as? 1
9The measure thereof is longer than ha'aretz, 1 and broader than the yam (sea). 1
10When Eloah passes by and arrests and convenes for judgment, 1 who then can constrain Him? 1
11For He has da'as of deceitful men; 1 He seeth wickedness also; will He not then take note of it? 1
12But before a witless ish can become wise, 1 a colt of a pereh (wild donkey) would be born an adam! 1
13If thou direct thine lev, 1 and stretch out thine hands to Him, 1
14If iniquity be in thine yad, put it far away, 1 and let not wickedness dwell in thy ohalim. 1
15For then shalt thou lift up thy face without mum; 1 yea, thou shalt be firm, and shalt not fear, 1
16Because thou shalt forget thy amal (grief), 1 and remember it as waters that flow by, 1
17And thine cheled (duration of life) shall be brighter than the tzohorayim (noonday); 1 thou shalt shine forth; thou shalt be as the boker. 1
18And thou shalt be secure, because now there is tikveh; 1 yea, thou shalt search, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety. 1
19Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; 1 yea, rabbim (many) shall court thy favor. 1
20But the eyes of the resha'im faileth, 1 and they shall not escape, 1 and their tikveh shall be as the last gasp of the nefesh.
