Isaiah 35
The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; 1 And the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. 1
It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice 1 Even with joy and singing: 1 The glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, 1 The excellency of Carmel and Sharon, 1 They shall see the glory of the Lord, 1 And the excellency of our God. 1
Strengthen ye the weak hands, 1 And confirm the feeble knees. 1
Say to them that are of a fearful heart, 1 Be strong, fear not: 1 Behold, your God will come with vengeance, 1 Even God with a recompence; 1 He will come and save you. 1
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, 1 And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 1
Then shall the lame man leap as a hart, 1 And the tongue of the dumb sing: 1 For in the wilderness shall waters break out, 1 And streams in the desert. 1
And the parched ground shall become a pool, 1 And the thirsty land springs of water: 1 In the habitation of dragons, where each lay, 1 Shall be grass with reeds and rushes. 1
And a highway shall be there, and a way, 1 And it shall be called The way of holiness; 1 The unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: 1 The wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. 1
No lion shall be there, 1 Nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, 1 It shall not be found there; 1 But the redeemed shall walk there: 1
And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, 1 And come to Zion with songs 1 And everlasting joy upon their heads: 1 They shall obtain joy and gladness, 1 And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
