Isaiah 52

Awake, awake; 1 clothe thyself with thy strength, O Tziyon; 1 put on thy garments of splendor, 1 O Yerushalayim, Ir HaKodesh; 1 for henceforth there shall no more come into thee 1 the arel (uncircumcised) and the tameh (unclean). 1

Shake thyself from the dust; 1 arise, O captive Yerushalayim; 1 free thyself from the chains around thy neck, 1 O captive Bat Tziyon.

For thus saith Hashem, Ye have sold yourselves for nothing; and your geulah (redemption) shall be without kesef.

For thus saith Adonoi Hashem: My people went down at first into Mitzrayim to sojourn there; and lately the Assyrian oppressed them.

Now therefore, what have I here, saith Hashem, that My people is taken away for nothing? They that rule over them mock them, saith Hashem; and all day long Shemi (My Name) is continually blasphemed.

Therefore My people shall know Shemi; therefore they shall know in Yom Hahu that I am He that doth speak; hineni, (behold, it is I). 1

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the Mevaser (bringer of Good Tidings, the Evangelist), 1 that publisheth shalom; that bringeth good tidings of tov, 1 that publisheth Yeshu'ah (Salvation); 1 that saith unto Tziyon: Thy G-d reigneth! 1

Thy tzofim (watchmen) shall lift up the kol (voice); 1 with the kol together shall they shout for joy; 1 for they shall see it with their own eyes, 1 when Hashem returns to Tziyon. 1

Break forth into joy, sing together, 1 ye ruins of Yerushalayim; 1 for Hashem hath comforted His people, 1 He hath redeemed Yerushalayim. 1

Hashem hath made bare His zero'a kedoshah + 52:10 See Isa 53:1 1 in the eyes of Kol HaGoyim; 1 and all the ends of ha'aretz 1 shall see the Yeshu'at Eloheinu. 1

Depart ye, depart ye; come ye out from there; 1 touch not tameh (unclean thing); 1 come ye out of the midst of her; 1 be ye clean, that carry the k'lei Hashem. 1

For ye shall not go out with haste, 1 nor go by flight; 1 for Hashem will go before you; 1 and Elohei Yisroel will be your rearguard. + 52:12 Avdi Tzemach Moshiach Zech 3:8 will be exalted; but He must do the work of a kohen Ps 110:4 regarding the nations, sprinkling them (see Lv 4:16-17; 16:14 ); so yazzeh (“He [Moshiach] will sprinkle” many goyim; note: hiphil of naza, “splatter,” meaning “sprinkle”); see Zech 9:9-11 where Moshiach comes with the dahm and the Brit (Covenant)! Here in Isa 52:15 , the covenant dahm (blood) is sprinkled upon the nations of the world; the King of Kings shall shut the mouths of the kings of all the earth. 1

Hinei, Avdi + 52:13 Moshiach, see Zech 3:8 shall act wisely, 1 he shall be raised and be lifted up, and be highly exalted. 1

As rabbim (many) were appalled at thee; + 52:14 Moshiach 1 his appearance was so disfigured more than any man, 1 and his form more than the bnei adam; 1

So yazzeh Goyim rabbim (he [Moshiach] will sprinkle many nations); 1 the melachim (kings) shall shut their mouths because of him; 1 for that which had not been told them 1 shall they see; 1 and of that which they had not heard 1 shall they have binah (understanding).
