Isaiah 62

For the sake of Tziyon will I not hold my peace 1 and for the sake of Yerushalayim I will not remain quiet, 1 until her tzedek go forth like nogah (brightness), 1 and her Yeshu'ah (Salvation) like a blazing lapid (torch), 1

And the Goyim shall see thy tzedek, 1 and kol melachim thy kavod; 1 and thou shalt be called by a shem chadash, 1 which the mouth of Hashem shall designate. 1

Thou shalt also be an ateret tiferet 1 in the Yad Hashem, 1 and a tzanif melukhah (royal turban, diadem) 1 in the palm of thy G-d. 1

Of thee it shalt no more be said, Azuvah (Forsaken); 1 neither of thy land shall it any more be said, Shemameh (Desolate); 1 but thou shalt be called Cheftzi-Vah, (My Delight is in her) 1 and thy land Beulah (Married): 1 for Hashem delighteth in thee, 1 and thy land shall be married. 1

For as a bochur marrieth a betulah, 1 so shall thy banim marry thee; 1 and as the choson rejoiceth over the kallah, 1 so shall thy G-d rejoice over thee. 1

I have set shomrim upon thy chomot, O Yerushalayim, 1 which shall never hold their peace yom nor lailah; 1 ye that remind Hashem, keep not silence, 1

And give Him no rest, 1 until He establish, and until He make 1 Yerushalayim a tehillah (praise) in Ha'Aretz. 1

Hashem hath sworn by His yamin, 1 and by the zero'a of His oz (might), 1 Surely I will no more give thy dagan 1 (grain) to be food for thine oyevim; 1 and the bnei nekhar shall not drink thy tirosh, 1 for the which thou hast toiled; 1

But they that have harvested it shall eat it, 1 and praise Hashem; 1 and they that have gathered it in shall drink it 1 in the khatzerot (courtyards) of My Kodesh (Holy Place). 1

Pass through, pass through the She'arim; 1 prepare ye the Derech HaAm; 1 Build up, build up the mesilah (highway); 1 gather out the even (stones); 1 lift up a nes (banner) [visible] over HaAmim (the Nations). 1

Hinei, Hashem hath proclaimed 1 unto the ketzeh HaAretz (end of the Earth): 1 Say ye to Bat Tziyon, Hinei, thy Salvation cometh; 1 hinei, His sachar (reward) is with Him, 1 and His recompense before Him. 1

And they shall call them, The Am HaKodesh, 1 the Geulei Hashem; 1 and thou shalt be called, Derushah (one being sought), 1 Ir Lo Ne'ezavah (City Not Deserted).
