Isaiah 65
I let Myself be sought of them 1 that asked not for Me; 1 I let Myself be found of them 1 that sought me not; 1 I said: Hineni, behold Me, 1 unto a Goy (Nation, People) that was not called by My Shem. 1
I have spread out My yad kol hayom 1 unto an Am Sorer (stubbornly rebellious people), 1 which walketh in a derech lo tov, 1 after their own machshevot (thoughts); 1
HaAm that provoketh Me to anger 1 continually to My face; 1 that sacrificeth in ganot (gardens), 1 and burneth sacrifices upon brick; 1
Which remain among the kevarim, 1 and spend the night in closed places, 1 which eat basar hachazir, 1 and broth of piggulim + 65:4 Lv 7:18 (unclean meat) in their vessels; 1
Which say: Stand by thyself, come not near to me; 1 for I am kadosh to thee (holier than thou). 1 These are a smoke in My nose, 1 an eish that burneth kol hayom. 1
Hinei, it is written before Me: 1 I will not keep silent, but will recompense fully, 1 even recompense into their kheyk, 1
Your avonot, and the iniquities 1 of your avot together, saith Hashem, 1 because they burned sacrifices upon the mountains, 1 and insulted Me upon the hills; 1 therefore will I measure 1 their former peulot into their kheyk. 1
Thus saith Hashem: 1 As the tirosh is found in the cluster, 1 and one saith: Destroy it not; 1 for a brocha is in it; 1 so will I do in behalf of My Servants, 1 that I may not destroy them all. 1
And I will bring forth a zera out of Ya'akov, 1 and out of Yehudah a yoresh (inheritor) of My mountains; 1 and Mine Bechir (Chosen ones) shall inherit it, 1 and My Servants shall dwell there. 1
And Sharon shall be a meadow for tzon, 1 and the valley of Achor a place for the flock to lie down, 1 for Ami (My People) who seek Me. 1
But ye are they that forsake Hashem, 1 that forget My Har Kadosh, 1 that prepare a shulchan for Fortune, 1 and that furnish the drink offering for Destiny. 1
Therefore will I destine you for the cherev, 1 and ye shall all bow down to the slaughtering place; 1 because when I called, ye did not answer; 1 when I spoke, ye did not hear; 1 but did the rah before Mine eyes, 1 and did choose that wherein I delighted not. 1
Therefore thus saith Adonoi Hashem: 1 Hinei, My Servants shall eat, 1 but ye shall be hungry; 1 hinei, My Servants shall drink, 1 but ye shall be thirsty; 1 hinei, My Servants shall rejoice, 1 but ye shall be ashamed; 1
Hinei, My Servants shall sing for joy of lev, 1 but ye shall cry out from anguish of lev, 1 and shall wail from brokenness of ruach. 1
And ye shall leave your shem 1 for a curse unto My Bechir; 1 for Adonoi Hashem shall put thee to death, 1 and call His Avadim by another shem; 1
That he who blesseth himself in ha'aretz 1 shall bless himself by Elohei Omein (the G-d of [the] Amen, the G-d of Truth); 1 and he that taketh an oath in ha'aretz 1 shall take the oath by Elohei Omein; 1 because the former tzoros are forgotten, 1 and because they are hid from Mine eyes. 1
For, hinei, I create Shomayim Chadashim 1 and eretz Chadashah; 1 and the rishonot shall not be remembered, 1 nor come into mind. 1
But be ye glad and rejoice forever 1 in that which I create; 1 for, hinei, I create Yerushalayim a rejoicing, 1 and her people a joy. 1
And I will rejoice in Yerushalayim, 1 and joy in Ami; 1 and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, 1 nor the voice of crying out. 1
There shall be no more in there 1 an infant of days, nor a zaken (old man) 1 that hath not filled his days; 1 for he that shall die a hundred years old will be regarded a na'ar; 1 but the choteh (sinner), a hundred years old, will be accursed. 1
And they shall build batim (houses), and inhabit them; 1 and they shall plant kramim (vineyards), and eat the fruit of them. 1
They shall not build, 1 and another inhabit; 1 they shall not plant, 1 and another eat; 1 for as the days of HaEtz 1 are the days of Ami, 1 and Mine Bechir shall long enjoy 1 the ma'aseh of their hands. 1
They shall not labor in vain, 1 nor bring forth for misfortune; 1 for they are the Zera Beruchei Hashem (Seed of the Blessed ones of Hashem ), 1 and their offspring with them. 1
And it shall come to pass, 1 that before they call, I will answer; 1 and while they are yet medaberim (speaking), I will hear. 1
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, 1 and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; 1 and aphar shall be the lechem of the nachash. 1 They shall not hurt nor destroy 1 in all My Har Kadosh, 1 saith Hashem. + 65:25 T.N.
