Psalms 108

O God, my heart is fixed; 1 I will sing and give praise, 1 Even with my glory. 1

Awake, psaltery and harp: 1 I myself will awake early. 1

I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: 1 And I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. 1

For thy mercy is great above the heavens: 1 And thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. 1

Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: 1 And thy glory above all the earth. 1

That thy beloved may be delivered; 1 Save with thy right hand, and answer me. 1

God hath spoken in his holiness; 1 I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, 1 And mete out the valley of Succoth. 1

Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; 1 Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; 1 Judah is my lawgiver; 1

Moab is my washpot; 1 Over Edom will I cast out my shoe; 1 Over Philistia will I triumph. 1

Who will bring me into the strong city? 1 Who will lead me into Edom? 1

Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? 1 And wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts? 1

Give us help from trouble: 1 For vain is the help of man. 1

Through God we shall do valiantly: 1 For he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
