Psalms 115
Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, 1 But unto thy name give glory, 1 For thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake. 1
Wherefore should the heathen say, 1 Where is now their God? 1
But our God is in the heavens: 1 He hath done whatsoever he pleased. 1
Their idols are silver and gold, 1 The work of men’s hands. 1
They have mouths, but they speak not: 1 Eyes have they, but they see not: 1
They have ears, but they hear not: 1 Noses have they, but they smell not: 1
They have hands, but they handle not: 1 Feet have they, but they walk not: 1 Neither speak they through their throat. 1
They that make them are like unto them; 1 So is every one that trusteth in them. 1
O Israel, trust thou in the Lord: 1 He is their help and their shield. 1
O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord: 1 He is their help and their shield. 1
Ye that fear the Lord, trust in the Lord: 1 He is their help and their shield. 1
The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; 1 He will bless the house of Israel; 1 He will bless the house of Aaron. 1
He will bless them that fear the Lord, 1 Both small and great. 1
The Lord shall increase you more and more, 1 You and your children. 1
You are blessed of the Lord 1 Which made heaven and earth. 1
The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: 1 But the earth hath he given to the children of men. 1
The dead praise not the Lord, 1 Neither any that go down into silence. 1
But we will bless the Lord 1 From this time forth and for evermore. 1 Praise the Lord.
