Psalms 120

In my distress I cried unto the Lord, 1 And he heard me. 1

Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, 1 And from a deceitful tongue. 1

What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, 1 Thou false tongue? 1

Sharp arrows of the mighty, 1 With coals of juniper. 1

Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, 1 That I dwell in the tents of Kedar! 1

My soul hath long dwelt 1 With him that hateth peace. 1

I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
