Psalms 61

Hear my cry, O God; 1 Attend unto my prayer. 1

From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: 1 Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. 1

For thou hast been a shelter for me, 1 And a strong tower from the enemy. 1

I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: 1 I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. 1

For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: 1 Thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. 1

Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: 1 And his years as many generations. 1

He shall abide before God for ever: 1 O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him. 1

So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, 1 That I may daily perform my vows.
