Psalms 63

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: 1 My soul thirsteth for thee, 1 My flesh longeth for thee, 1 In a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; 1

To see thy power and thy glory, 1 So as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. 1

Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, 1 My lips shall praise thee. 1

Thus will I bless thee while I live: 1 I will lift up my hands in thy name. 1

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; 1 And my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: 1

When I remember thee upon my bed, 1 And meditate on thee in the night watches. 1

Because thou hast been my help, 1 Therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. 1

My soul followeth hard after thee: 1 Thy right hand upholdeth me. 1

But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, 1 Shall go into the lower parts of the earth. 1

They shall fall by the sword: 1 They shall be a portion for foxes. 1

But the king shall rejoice in God; 1 Every one that sweareth by him shall glory: 1 But the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
