Psalms 149
1Praise ye the Lord. 1 Sing unto the Lord a new song, 1 And his praise in the congregation of saints. 1
2Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: 1 Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. 1
3Let them praise his name in the dance: 1 Let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. 1
4For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: 1 He will beautify the meek with salvation. 1
5Let the saints be joyful in glory: 1 Let them sing aloud upon their beds. 1
6Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, 1 And a twoedged sword in their hand; 1
7To execute vengeance upon the heathen, 1 And punishments upon the people; 1
8To bind their kings with chains, 1 And their nobles with fetters of iron; 1
9To execute upon them the judgment written: 1 This honour have all his saints. 1 Praise ye the Lord.
