Psalms 112

1Praise ye the Lord. 1 (א) Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, 1 (ב) That delighteth greatly in his commandments. 1

2(ג) His seed shall be mighty upon earth: 1 (ד) The generation of the upright shall be blessed. 1

3(ה) Wealth and riches shall be in his house: 1 (ו) And his righteousness endureth for ever. 1

4(ז) Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: 1 (ח) He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. 1

5(ט) A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: 1 (י) He will guide his affairs with discretion. 1

6(כ) Surely he shall not be moved for ever: 1 (ל) The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. 1

7(מ) He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: 1 (נ) His heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord. 1

8(ס) His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, 1 (ע) Until he see his desire upon his enemies. 1

9(פ) He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; 1 (צ) His righteousness endureth for ever; 1 (ק) His horn shall be exalted with honour. 1

10(ר) The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; 1 (ש) He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: 1 (ת) The desire of the wicked shall perish.
