Psalms 113

1Praise ye the Lord. 1 Praise, O ye servants of the Lord, 1 Praise the name of the Lord. 1

2Blessed be the name of the Lord 1 From this time forth and for evermore. 1

3From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same 1 The Lord’s name is to be praised. 1

4The Lord is high above all nations, 1 And his glory above the heavens. 1

5Who is like unto the Lord our God, 1 Who dwelleth on high, 1

6Who humbleth himself to behold 1 The things that are in heaven, and in the earth? 1

7He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, 1 And lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; 1

8That he may set him with princes, 1 Even with the princes of his people. 1

9He maketh the barren woman to keep house, 1 To be a joyful mother of children. 1 Praise ye the Lord.
