Psalms 34

1(א) I will bless the Lord at all times: 1 His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 1

2(ב) My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: 1 The humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 1

3(ג) O magnify the Lord with me, 1 And let us exalt his name together. 1

4(ד) I sought the Lord, and he heard me, 1 And delivered me from all my fears. 1

5(ה) They looked unto him, and were lightened: 1 (ו) And their faces were not ashamed. 1

6(ז) This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, 1 And saved him out of all his troubles. 1

7(ח) The angel of the Lord encampeth 1 Round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. 1

8(ט) O taste and see that the Lord is good: 1 Blessed is the man that trusteth in him. 1

9(י) O fear the Lord, ye his saints: 1 For there is no want to them that fear him. 1

10(כ) The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: 1 But they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. 1

11(ל) Come, ye children, hearken unto me: 1 I will teach you the fear of the Lord. 1

12(מ) What man is he that desireth life, 1 And loveth many days, that he may see good? 1

13(נ) Keep thy tongue from evil, 1 And thy lips from speaking guile. 1

14(ס) Depart from evil, and do good; 1 Seek peace, and pursue it. 1

15(ע) The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, 1 And his ears are open unto their cry. 1

16(פ) The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, 1 To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. 1

17(צ) The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, 1 And delivereth them out of all their troubles. 1

18(ק) The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; 1 And saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 1

19(ר) Many are the afflictions of the righteous: 1 But the Lord delivereth him out of them all. 1

20(ש) He keepeth all his bones: 1 Not one of them is broken. 1

21(ת) Evil shall slay the wicked: 1 And they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. 1

22(פ) The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: 1 And none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
