Psalms 116
I love the Lord, because he hath heard 1 My voice and my supplications. 1
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, 1 Therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. 1
The sorrows of death compassed me, 1 And the pains of hell gat hold upon me: 1 I found trouble and sorrow. 1
Then called I upon the name of the Lord; 1 O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. 1
Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; 1 Yea, our God is merciful. 1
The Lord preserveth the simple: 1 I was brought low, and he helped me. 1
Return unto thy rest, O my soul; 1 For the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. 1
For thou hast delivered my soul from death, 1 Mine eyes from tears, 1 And my feet from falling. 1
I will walk before the Lord 1 In the land of the living. 1
I believed, therefore have I spoken: 1 I was greatly afflicted: 1
I said in my haste, 1 All men are liars. 1
What shall I render unto the Lord 1 For all his benefits towards me? 1
I will take the cup of salvation, 1 And call upon the name of the Lord. 1
I will pay my vows unto the Lord 1 Now in the presence of all his people. 1
Precious in the sight of the Lord 1 Is the death of his saints. 1
Oh Lord, truly I am thy servant; 1 I am thy servant, and the son of thy handmaid: 1 Thou hast loosed my bonds. 1
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, 1 And will call upon the name of the Lord. 1
I will pay my vows unto the Lord 1 Now in the presence of all his people, 1
In the courts of the Lord’s house, 1 In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. 1 Praise ye the Lord.
