Psalms 91
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High 1 Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 1
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: 1 My God; in him will I trust. 1
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, 1 And from the noisome pestilence. 1
He shall cover thee with his feathers, 1 And under his wings shalt thou trust: 1 His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 1
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; 1 Nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 1
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; 1 Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 1
A thousand shall fall at thy side, 1 And ten thousand at thy right hand; 1 But it shall not come nigh thee. 1
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold 1 And see the reward of the wicked. 1
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, 1 Even the most High, thy habitation; 1
There shall no evil befall thee, 1 Neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 1
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, 1 To keep thee in all thy ways. 1
They shall bear thee up in their hands, 1 Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 1
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: 1 The young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 1
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: 1 I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 1
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: 1 I will be with him in trouble; 1 I will deliver him, and honour him. 1
With long life will I satisfy him, 1 And shew him my salvation.
