Psalms 62
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: 1 From him cometh my salvation. 1
He only is my rock and my salvation; 1 He is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. 1
How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? 1 Ye shall be slain all of you: 1 As a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence. 1
They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: 1 They delight in lies: 1 They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah. 1
My soul, wait thou only upon God; 1 For my expectation is from him. 1
He only is my rock and my salvation: 1 He is my defence; I shall not be moved. 1
In God is my salvation and my glory: 1 The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 1
Trust in him at all times; ye people, 1 Pour out your heart before him: 1 God is a refuge for us. Selah. 1
Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: 1 To be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity. 1
Trust not in oppression, 1 And become not vain in robbery: 1 If riches increase, set not your heart upon them. 1
God hath spoken once; 1 Twice have I heard this; 1 That power belongeth unto God. 1
Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: 1 For thou renderest to every man according to his work.
