Psalms 3
Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! 1 Many are they that rise up against me. 1
Many there be which say of my soul, 1 There is no help for him in God. Selah. 1
But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; 1 My glory, and the lifter up of mine head. 1
I cried unto the Lord with my voice, 1 And he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. 1
I laid me down and slept; 1 I awaked; for the Lord sustained me. 1
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, 1 That have set themselves against me round about. 1
Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: 1 For thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; 1 Thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. 1
Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: 1 Thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
