Psalms 68
1Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: 1 Let them also that hate him flee before him. 1
2As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: 1 As wax melteth before the fire, 1 So let the wicked perish at the presence of God. 1
3But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: 1 Yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. 1
4Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: 1 Extol him that rideth upon the heavens 1 By his name JAH, and rejoice before him. 1
5A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, 1 Is God in his holy habitation. 1
6God setteth the solitary in families: 1 He bringeth out those which are bound with chains: 1 But the rebellious dwell in a dry land. 1
7O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, 1 When thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah. 1
8The earth shook, the heavens also dropped 1 At the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved 1 At the presence of God, the God of Israel. 1
9Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, 1 Whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. 1
10Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: 1 Thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor. 1
11The Lord gave the word: 1 Great was the company of those that published it. 1
12Kings of armies did flee apace: 1 And she that tarried at home divided the spoil. 1
13Though ye have lien among the pots, 1 Yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, 1 And her feathers with yellow gold. 1
14When the Almighty scattered kings in it, 1 It was white as snow in Salmon. 1
15The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; 1 A high hill as the hill of Bashan. 1
16Why leap ye, ye high hills? 1 This is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; 1 Yea, the Lord will dwell in it for ever. 1
17The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: 1 The Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place. 1
18Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: 1 Thou hast received gifts for men; 1 Yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them. 1
19Blessed be the Lord, 1 Who daily loadeth us with benefits, 1 Even the God of our salvation. Selah. 1
20He that is our God is the God of salvation; 1 And unto God the Lord belong the issues from death. 1
21But God shall wound the head of his enemies, 1 And the hairy scalp of such a one as goeth on still in his trespasses. 1
22The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, 1 I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea: 1
23That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, 1 And the tongue of thy dogs in the same. 1
24They have seen thy goings, O God; 1 Even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary. 1
25The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; 1 Among them were the damsels playing with timbrels. 1
26Bless ye God in the congregations, 1 Even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel. 1
27There is little Benjamin with their ruler, 1 The princes of Judah and their council, 1 The princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali. 1
28Thy God hath commanded thy strength: 1 Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us. 1
29Because of thy temple at Jerusalem 1 Shall kings bring presents unto thee. 1
30Rebuke the company of spearmen, 1 The multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, 1 Till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: 1 Scatter thou the people that delight in war. 1
31Princes shall come out of Egypt; 1 Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God. 1
32Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; 1 O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah. 1
33To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; 1 Lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice. 1
34Ascribe ye strength unto God: 1 His excellency is over Israel, 1 And his strength is in the clouds. 1
35O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: 1 The God of Israel is he 1 That giveth strength and power unto his people. 1 Blessed be God.
