Psalms 123
Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, 1 O thou that dwellest in the heavens. 1
Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, 1 And as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; 1 So our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, 1 Until that he have mercy upon us. 1
Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: 1 For we are exceedingly filled with contempt. 1
Our soul is exceedingly filled 1 With the scorning of those that are at ease, 1 And with the contempt of the proud.
