Psalms 92
It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, 1 And to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: 1
To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, 1 And thy faithfulness every night, 1
Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; 1 Upon the harp with a solemn sound. 1
For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: 1 I will triumph in the works of thy hands. 1
O Lord, how great are thy works! 1 And thy thoughts are very deep. 1
A brutish man knoweth not; 1 Neither doth a fool understand this. 1
When the wicked spring as the grass, 1 And when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; 1 It is that they shall be destroyed for ever: 1
But thou, Lord, art most High for evermore. 1
For lo, thine enemies, O Lord, 1 For lo, thine enemies shall perish; 1 All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. 1
But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: 1 I shall be anointed with fresh oil. 1
Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, 1 And mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me. 1
The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: 1 He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 1
Those that be planted in the house of the Lord 1 Shall flourish in the courts of our God. 1
They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; 1 They shall be fat and flourishing; 1
To shew that the Lord is upright: 1 He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
