Psalms 111

1Praise ye the Lord. 1 (א) I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, 1 (ב) In the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. 1

2(ג) The works of the Lord are great, 1 (ד) Sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. 1

3(ה) His work is honourable and glorious: 1 (ו) And his righteousness endureth for ever. 1

4(ז) He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: 1 (ח) The Lord is gracious and full of compassion. 1

5(ט) He hath given meat unto them that fear him: 1 (י) He will ever be mindful of his covenant. 1

6(כ) He hath shewed his people the power of his works, 1 (ל) That he may give them the heritage of the heathen. 1

7(מ) The works of his hands are verity and judgment; 1 (נ) All his commandments are sure. 1

8(ס) They stand fast for ever and ever, 1 (ע) And are done in truth and uprightness. 1

9(פ) He sent redemption unto his people: 1 (צ) He hath commanded his covenant for ever: 1 (ק) Holy and reverend is his name. 1

10(ר) The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: 1 (ש) A good understanding have all they that do his commandments: 1 (ת) His praise endureth for ever.
