Psalms 138
1I will praise thee with my whole heart: 1 Before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. 1
2I will worship towards thy holy temple, 1 And praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: 1 For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. 1
3In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, 1 And strengthenedst me with strength in my soul. 1
4All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, 1 When they hear the words of thy mouth. 1
5Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: 1 For great is the glory of the Lord. 1
6Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: 1 But the proud he knoweth afar off. 1
7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: 1 Thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, 1 And thy right hand shall save me. 1
8The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: 1 Thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: 1 Forsake not the works of thine own hands.
