Psalms 114

1When Israel went out of Egypt, 1 The house of Jacob from a people of strange language; 1

2Judah was his sanctuary, 1 And Israel his dominion. 1

3The sea saw it, and fled: 1 Jordan was driven back. 1

4The mountains skipped like rams, 1 And the little hills like lambs. 1

5What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? 1 Thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? 1

6Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; 1 And ye little hills, like lambs? 1

7Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, 1 At the presence of the God of Jacob; 1

8Which turned the rock into a standing water, 1 The flint into a fountain of waters.
