Psalms 84
How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Lord of hosts! 1
My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: 1 My heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God. 1
Yea, the sparrow hath found a house, 1 And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, 1 Even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God. 1
Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: 1 They will be still praising thee. Selah. 1
Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; 1 In whose heart are the ways of them. 1
Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; 1 The rain also filleth the pools. 1
They go from strength to strength, 1 Every one of them in Zion appeareth before God. 1
O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: 1 Give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah. 1
Behold, O God our shield, 1 And look upon the face of thine anointed. 1
For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. 1 I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, 1 Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. 1
For the Lord God is a sun and shield: 1 The Lord will give grace and glory: 1 No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. 1
O Lord of hosts, 1 Blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
