Psalms 26

Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity: 1 I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide. 1

Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; 1 Try my reins and my heart. 1

For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: 1 And I have walked in thy truth. 1

I have not sat with vain persons, 1 Neither will I go in with dissemblers. 1

I have hated the congregation of evildoers; 1 And will not sit with the wicked. 1

I will wash mine hands in innocency: 1 So will I compass thine altar, O Lord: 1

That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, 1 And tell of all thy wondrous works. 1

Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, 1 And the place where thine honour dwelleth. 1

Gather not my soul with sinners, 1 Nor my life with bloody men: 1

In whose hands is mischief, 1 And their right hand is full of bribes. 1

But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: 1 Redeem me, and be merciful unto me. 1

My foot standeth in an even place: 1 In the congregations will I bless the Lord.
