Psalms 115
1Not unto us, Hashem, not unto us, 1 but unto Thy Shem give kavod, 1 for the sake of Thy chesed, 1 and for Thy emes. 1
2Why should the Goyim say, 1 Where is now their Elohim? 1
3But Eloheinu is in Shomayim; 1 He hath done whatsoever He hath pleased. 1
4Their atzabim (idols) are kesef and zahav, 1 the ma'aseh (work) of the hands of adam. 1
5Peh (mouth) they have, but they speak not; 1 einayim (eyes) have they, but they see not; 1
6Oznayim (ears) they have, but they hear not; 1 af (nose) have they, but they smell not; 1
7They have hands, but they handle not; 1 raglayim (feet) have they, but they walk not; 1 neither speak they through their garon (throat). 1
8They that make them will be like them; 1 so is kol asher bote'ach (every one that trusteth) in them. 1
9O Yisroel, trust thou in Hashem. 1 He is their ezrah (help) and their mogen. 1
10O Bais Aharon, trust thou in Hashem; 1 He is their ezrah (help) and their mogen. 1
11The ones fearing Hashem, trust in Hashem; 1 He is their ezrah (help) and their mogen (shield). 1
12Hashem hath been mindful of us; Yevarech. 1 Yevarech es Bais Yisroel; 1 Yevarech es Bais Aharon. 1
13Yevarech Yirei Hashem (He will bless those who fear Hashem ), 1 the ketanim with the gedolim. 1
14May Hashem give you increase, 1 upon you and your banim. 1
15May a barukhah be upon you by Hashem, 1 Oseh Shomayim va'Aretz (Maker of Heaven and Earth). 1
16The heavens, even Shomayim, is Hashemʼs, 1 but HaAretz He gave to the Bnei Adam. 1
17The mesim (dead ones) praise not Hashem, 1 neither do any that descend into Dumah (the silent). + 115:17 place of Sheol 1
18But we will bless Hashem 1 from this time forth v'ad olam (and to forevermore). 1 Praise Hashem.
