Psalms 92
1(Mizmor. Shir. For Shabbos) 1
2It is tov to give thanks unto Hashem, 1 and to make music unto Thy Shem, O Elyon; 1
3To proclaim Thy chesed in the boker, 1 and Thy emunah baleilot, 1
4Upon a ten-stringed instrument, and upon the nevel (lyre); 1 to the melody of the kinnor (harp). 1
5For Thou, Hashem, hast made me glad through Thy work; 1 I will joy in the works of Thy hands. 1
6Hashem, how great are Thy works! 1 And Thy machshe'vot (thoughts) are very deep. 1
7An ish ba'ar (brutish, senseless man, dolt) knoweth not; 1 neither doth a kesil (fool) understand this. 1
8When the resha'im spring up like the esev (grass), 1 and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish, 1 it is that they shall be destroyed adei-ad (forever). 1
9But Thou, Hashem, art exalted l'olam. 1
10For, hinei, Thine enemies, Hashem, 1 for, hinei, Thine enemies shall perish; 1 all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. 1
11But my keren shalt Thou exalt like the keren of a re'eim (wild ox); 1 I shall be anointed with fresh shemen. 1
12Mine eye also shall look on mine foes, 1 and mine ears shall hear of the resha'im 1 that rise up against me. 1
13The tzaddik shall flourish like the palm tree; 1 he shall grow like a cedar in Levanon. 1
14Those that are planted in the Beis Hashem 1 shall flourish in the khatzerot Eloheinu (courts of our G-d). 1
15They shall still bear forth fruit in old age; 1 they shall be deshenim (stalwart, vigorous) and ra'ananim (luxuriant, fresh); 1
16To proclaim that Hashem is yashar; 1 He is my Tzur, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
