Psalms 26
(Of Dovid) 1 for I have walked in mine tohm (guilelessness); 1 I have trusted also in Hashem without wavering. 1
Examine me, Hashem, and prove me; 1 try my heart and my mind. 1
For Thy chesed is before mine eyes; 1 and I have walked in Thy emes. 1
I do not sit with metei-shav (men of vanity), 1 neither will I go in with dissemblers. 1
I have hated the kehal mere'im (congregation of evil doers); 1 and will not sit with the resha'im. 1
I will wash mine hands in nikkayon (innocency, cleanness, freedom from punishment); 1 so will I encompass Thine Mizbe'ach, Hashem; 1
That I may publish with the voice of todah, 1 and tell of all Thy wondrous works. 1
Hashem, I have loved the ma'on of Thy Bais, + 26:8 HaMikdash 1 and the Mishkan where Thine kavod dwelleth. 1
Take not away my nefesh with chatta'im (sinners), 1 nor my Chai (life) with anshei damim; 1
In whose hands is zimmah (wicked plans), 1 and their right hand is full of shochad (bribery). 1
But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity; 1 redeem me, v'chaneini (and be merciful and gracious unto me). 1
My regel standeth on level ground; 1 in the great assemblies unto Hashem will I render brocha.
