Psalms 61
1(For the one directing. With stringed instruments. Of Dovid) 1
2Hear my cry, Elohim; 1 attend unto my tefillah. 1
3From the end of ha'aretz will I call unto Thee, 1 when my lev is overwhelmed; 1 lead me to the Tzur 1 that is higher than I. 1
4For Thou hast been a refuge for me, 1 and a migdal oz (tower of strength) from the enemy. 1
5I will abide in Thy ohel forever; 1 I will take refuge in the covert of Thy wings. 1 Selah 1
6For Thou, Elohim, hast heard my nederim; 1 Thou hast given me the yerushat yirei Shemecha 1 (inheritance of those that fear Thy Name). 1
7Thou wilt prolong days of the Melech, 1 and his shanot dor vador. 1
8He shall abide before Elohim forever; 1 O appoint chesed and emes, to preserve him. 1
9So will I sing praise unto Shimecha forever, 1 that I may yom yom (daily) perform my nederim.
