Psalms 132
1(Shir HaMa'alot) 1
2How he swore unto Hashem, 1 and vowed unto Avir Ya'akov (the Mighty One of Ya'akov); 1
3Surely I will not come into the ohel of my bais, 1 nor go up into my bed; 1
4I will not give sleep to mine eyes, 1 nor tenumah (slumber) to mine eyelids, 1
5Until I find a makom (place) for Hashem, 1 even mishkanot for the Avir Ya'akov. 1
6Hinei, we heard of it at Ephratah; 1 we found it in the sedei Ya'ar (fields of Ya'ar). 1
7We will go into His mishkanot; 1 we will worship at the hadom (footstool) of His raglayim. 1
8Arise, Hashem, into Thy menuchah (resting place); 1 Thou, and the Aron of Thy oz (might). 1
9Let Thy Kohanim be clothed with tzedek; 1 and let Thy chasidim sing for joy. 1
10For the sake of Dovid Thy Eved, 1 do not turn away the face of Thine Moshiach. + 132:10 See Isa 52:13; 53:11 1
11Hashem hath sworn in emes unto Dovid; 1 He will not turn from His oath: 1 Of the p'ri (fruit) of thy beten (body) 1 will I set upon thy kisse (throne). 1
12If thy Banim are shomer over My Brit 1 and My Edot that I shall teach them, 1 their Banim shall also sit upon thy kisse adei-ad (forevermore). 1
13For Hashem hath chosen Tziyon; 1 He hath desired her for His moshav. 1
14This is My menuchah (resting place) adei-ad (forever); 1 here will I dwell; for I have desired her. 1
15I will place a bountiful brocha on her provision; 1 I will satisfy her poor with lechem. 1
16I will also clothe her Kohanim with Yesha (salvation); 1 and her chasidim shall sing aloud for joy. 1
17There atzmi'ach (I will make sprout) + 132:17 i.e., Tzemach the Keren of Dovid; 1 I have ordained a ner (lamp) for My Moshiach. 1
18His oyevim will I clothe with boshet (shame); 1 but upon him + 132:18 Moshiach shall his nezer (crown) be resplendent.
