Psalms 13

2How long wilt Thou forget me, Hashem? Netzach (forever)? 1 How long wilt Thou hide Thy face from me? 1

3How long shall I take counsel in my nefesh, 1 having sorrow in my lev daily? 1 How long shall mine oyev be exalted over me? 1

4Consider and hear me, Hashem Elohai; 1 enlighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of mavet; 1

5Lest mine oyev say, 1 I have prevailed against him; 1 and those that trouble me rejoice 1 when I am defeated. 1

6But I have trusted in Thy chesed; 1 my lev shall rejoice in Thy Yeshu'ah (salvation). 1 because He hath dealt bountifully with me.
