Psalms 135
1Praise Hashem. 1 Halelu, O ye avadim of Hashem. 1
2Ye that stand ministering in the Beis Hashem, 1 in the khatzerot Beis Eloheinu. 1
3Praise Hashem; 1 for Hashem is tov; sing praise unto Shmo; for it is na'im (lovely, pleasing). 1
4For Hashem hath chosen Ya'akov unto Himself, 1 and Yisroel for His segullah (peculiar treasure). 1
5For I know that Hashem is gadol, 1 and that Adoneinu is above kol elohim. 1
6Whatsoever Hashem pleases, that He does 1 in Shomayim, and in HaAretz, 1 in HaYam, and kol tehomot. 1
7He causeth the clouds to ascend at the end of HaAretz; 1 He maketh lightning for the matar (rain); 1 He bringeth the ruach out of His otzarot. 1
8Who struck down the Bechorei Mitzrayim, 1 both of adam and behemah. 1
9Who sent otot and mofetim into the midst of thee, O Mitzrayim, 1 upon Pharaoh, and upon all his avadim. 1
10Who struck down Goyim rabbim, 1 and slaughtered melachim atzumim (powerful kings); 1
11Sichon Melech HaEmori, 1 and Og Melech HaBashan, 1 and all the mamlechot Kena'an; 1
12And gave their land for a nachalah, 1 an inheritance unto Yisroel Amo (His people). 1
13Thy Shem, Hashem, endureth l'olam; 1 and Thy remembrance, Hashem, l'dor vador. 1
14For Hashem will vindicate His people; 1 He will have compassion on His avadim. 1
15The idols of the Goyim are kesef and zahav, 1 the ma'aseh yedei adam. 1
16They have mouths, but they speak not; 1 einayim have they, but they see not; 1
17They have oznayim, but they hear not; 1 neither is there any ruach in their mouths. 1
18They that oseihem (make them) will be like them; 1 so is every one that trusteth in them. 1
19Barakhu Hashem, O Bais Yisroel; 1 barakhu Hashem, O Bais Aharon; 1
20Barakhu Hashem, O Bais HaLevi; 1 ye that fear Hashem, barakhu Hashem. 1
21Baruch Hashem out of Tziyon, 1 which dwelleth at Yerushalayim. 1 Praise Hashem.
