Psalms 82

1(Mizmor of Asaph) 1 He judgeth among the elohim. + 82:1 See Ps 82:6 and Yn 10:34 1

2Ad mosai (How long) will ye judge unjustly, 1 and show partiality to the resha'im? 1 Selah 1

3Defend the poor and yatom (fatherless); 1 do justice to the oni (afflicted) and needy. 1

4Deliver the poor and needy; 1 rid them out of the yad resha'im. 1

5They know not, neither will they understand; 1 they walk on in choshech; 1 all the foundations of ha'aretz are shaken. 1

6I have said, elohim ye are; 1 and all of you are Bnei HaElyon. 1

7But ye shall die like adam, 1 and fall like one of the sarim (princes). 1

8Arise, Elohim, judge ha'aretz; 1 for Thou shalt inherit kol HaGoyim.
