Psalms 149
1Praise Hashem. 1 Shiru l'Adonoi shir chadash (Sing unto Hashem a new song), 1 and His praise in the Kahal Chasidim. 1
2Let Yisroel rejoice in Him that made him; 1 let the Bnei Tziyon be glad in their Melech. 1
3Let them praise Shmo in the dance; 1 let them sing zemirot unto Him with the tambourine and kinnor. 1
4For Hashem taketh pleasure in His people; 1 He will crown the meek with Yeshu'ah (salvation). 1
5Let the Chasidim be joyful in kavod; 1 let them sing for joy upon their beds. 1
6Let the high praises of G-d be in their mouth, 1 and a two-edged sword in their hand; 1
7To execute vengeance upon the Goyim, 1 and punishments upon the people; 1
8To bind their melachim with chains, 1 and their nobles with shackles of barzel (iron); 1
9To execute upon them the mishpat katuv (written judgment); 1 this honor have all His Chasidim. 1 Hallelu Hashem.
