Psalms 84

2How yedidot (lovely) are thy mishkanot, 1 O Hashem Tzva'os! 1
3My nefesh longeth, yea, even fainteth 1 for the khatzrot Hashem (courts of Hashem); 1 my lev and my basar 1 crieth out for El Chai. 1
4Yea, the sparrow hath found a bais, 1 and the swallow a ken (nest) for herself, 1 where she may lay her young, 1 even Thine mizbechot, 1 O Hashem Tzva'os Malki v'Elohai. 1
5Ashrei are they that dwell in Thy Beis; + 84:5 Hamikdash 1 they are ever praising Thee. 1 Selah 1
6Ashrei is the adam whose oz (strength) is in Thee; 1 in whose lev are their highways [to Tziyon]. + 84:6 see Ps 84:7 [8] 1
7Who passing through the valley of Baca (weeping) 1 make it a ma'ayon (spring, fountain); 1 the moreh (early rain) also covereth it with berakhot (blessings). 1
8They go from strength to strength, 1 every one of them who appeareth before Elohim in Tziyon. 1
9O Hashem Elohim Tzva'os, hear my tefillah; 1 give ear, O Elohei Ya'akov. 1 Selah 1
10Behold mogineinu (our shield), O Elohim, 1 and look upon the face of Thine Moshiach. 1
11For a yom in Thy khatzrot is better 1 than a thousand. 1 I had rather be a doorkeeper in the Beis Elohai, 1 than to dwell in the ohalim resha (tents of wickedness). 1
12For Hashem Elohim is a shemesh and a mogen; 1 Hashem will give chen and kavod; 1 no good thing will He withhold 1 from the holekhim b'tamim (them that walk uprightly). 1
13O Hashem Tzva'os, ashrei is the adam 1 bote'ach (man that trusteth, hath confident faith) in Thee.
