Psalms 125

1(Shir HaMa'alot [Song of Ascents]) 1 shall be as Mount Tziyon, which is immoveable, 1 and abideth l'olam. 1

2As harim (the mountains) surround Yerushalayim, 1 so Hashem surrounds His people 1 from henceforth v'ad olam (and to forever). 1

3For the shevet (scepter) of the resha shall not rest 1 upon the goral (allotment, property) of the tzaddikim; 1 lest the tzaddikim put forth 1 their hands unto iniquity. 1

4Do good, Hashem, unto the tovim, 1 and to them that are upright in their hearts. 1

5As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, 1 Hashem shall turn them away with the workers of iniquity; 1 but shalom shall be upon Yisroel.
